Aspe fiestas: planning your group meal
Plan a fiesta meal in Aspe and the Vinalopó: programmes, guest counts, access, menus and coordination for local associations.

Elche
A First Communion in the countryside, a birthday with paella or a team lunch: if you’re looking for catering in Elche, at Xepep we cook rice dishes on site for groups and fit the service to whatever space you have. For 40 or for 500, just the cooking or with set-up and staff.
Our kitchen is in Aspe, about 20 km from Elche. We’re part of the same Vinalopó area, and we travel to Elche, Crevillent and Santa Pola for events, local fiestas and family celebrations.
Fiestas
If you’re organising a group meal in Elche, keep August in mind. The Misteri d’Elx (Elche’s mystery play) is performed on the 14th and 15th; then come Santa Pola’s patron saint fiestas.

For a meal for an association or a comparsa (troupe), tell us whether you’re after a one-off rice dish or cooking and a bar over several days. Spring First Communions and family celebrations can also be catered with a live paella.
Services
Format
Just the rice. For a Communion in the countryside: we bring the cook, paella pans and ingredients; you provide the table.
With service. We plate and serve the rice, with the tableware we agree on.
Full meal. Appetisers, the rice, dessert and drinks – we set up and clear away.
So we can tailor the order to your celebration, tell us what tables and equipment there are at the venue. If you’d like us to cook outdoors, we need to know about the cooking area, permits and the wet-weather plan. We’ll detail the set-up and service in the quote.
Logistics
Our kitchen is about 20 km from Elche, in the same Vinalopó area. We agree arrival time, unloading access and cooking point.
For rice as the centre of the table, you have paellas and show cooking and our giant paella for fiestas and events. First Communions and christenings are also on celebration catering.
For committees and comparsas, see catering for local fiestas; for team meals, corporate events.
Rice dishes

Arroz con costra (crusted rice) is part of Vinalopó cooking. If you’d like it, or an arroz a banda, for your event, just say so in your request: the type of rice and the format are agreed in the proposal.
Area
We work in Elche, including its Parque Industrial, and in Crevillent and Santa Pola. If the celebration is in the countryside, give us the exact address or location and tell us what set-up you already have.
For other locations, see our pages on catering in Aspe and the Vinalopó or catering in Alicante.

For your celebration in Elche, send us the day, the number of guests and the venue. Tell us whether you want just the rice or a menu with service, what set-up you need and whether there are any allergies or special diets.
If you’re celebrating out in the countryside, add the exact location and tell us what tables, tableware or service you already have. That way we can work out what we need to bring.
You can also reach us on WhatsApp or on the events number in the header.
Questions
To work out the quote we need the date, the location, the rice dish and the type of service. Having a cook come with the paella pans is a different job from a meal with appetisers, drinks, set-up and staff.
Yes. The cook, rice and pans come with us; the space and tables are yours. We can also add plating and service, or prepare the whole meal.
Our event service with set-up starts at 40 guests. Our team can cook rice for up to 500 guests at one event. Under 40, we can do prepared food for you to pick up in Aspe.
Yes. We travel from our kitchen in Aspe to Elche, Crevillent and Santa Pola. Send us the exact location and the format you need, and we’ll put the proposal together.
If you’d like arroz con costra (crusted rice) for your event, say so when you ask for a quote. The type of rice and the format are settled in the proposal.
If your association’s meal in Elche revolves around rice, plan the set-up with our giant paella service.
