Aspe fiestas: planning your group meal
Plan a fiesta meal in Aspe and the Vinalopó: programmes, guest counts, access, menus and coordination for local associations.

Valencia
For a Fallas committee, a company lunch or a celebration with lots of guests, Xepep brings the kitchen to your venue. If you’re looking for catering in Valencia, we focus on live paella and service for groups: for 40 or for 500, depending on the set-up your event needs.
Our kitchen is in Aspe. We travel to Valencia and the rest of the province with our kitchen team; the proposal covers travel and everything we need to bring. You don’t have to book the whole meal if you’ve already got the service covered.
Fallas
At Fallas, paella brings the committee together out in the street, with the big pans and the party going on all around. It can also be the meal you share in the casal (the committee’s clubhouse), between one event and the next.
We bring the cooks, paella pans and ingredients to make the rice, while you enjoy the day with your committee. We cook over wood or gas, depending on the place and what the space allows.
Tell us the day, how many of you there are and whether you’ll eat at the casal or in the street, and we’ll put together a proposal. We check with you where cooking is permitted and what you already have set up.

Live paella. We can handle cooking the rice, with our own cook, ingredients and paella pans. For a giant paella in Valencia, we work out the portions and serving with you, based on the size of the group.
Company lunch. For a team get-together, a presentation or an anniversary, we help you choose between rice, a coffee break and other catering formats. Staff and tableware depend on the booking.
Committee or comparsa (troupe). The cooking can come with a bar in a marquee, and QR ordering lets you keep track of what’s ordered throughout the fiesta.
First Communions and birthdays fit in too: from just cooking the paella to adding appetisers, dessert, drinks and table service.

March brings Fallas committees together for their events and meals. In Alzira, the Moors and Christians fiesta takes place in October. We can cater for your fiesta with a one-off meal or with cooking and a bar over several days.
Dates to be confirmed
We plan the kitchen team around access and space at your venue. Together, we go through the tables, crockery and staff available, as well as where we’d move if it rains.
You can book just the cooking, add plating and serving, or go for a full menu with set-up and clear-away. The proposal will set out the agreed scope and the travel included.
With cooking on site we bring the cook, paella pans, ingredients and kit; you provide the space and, if you have it, the set-up. The informal format adds disposable tableware and a simple set-up. Full service covers complete set-up, crockery, waiting staff and clear-away.
Waiting staff and tableware are itemised in the proposal. Travel from Aspe to Valencia is included according to the venue address. For Fallas, it helps to lock in dates early.
If paella is the centrepiece of a community meal, see our giant paella for fiestas and events. For live rice dishes the rest of the year, paellas and show cooking.
We get requests for events in Valencia, Paterna and Torrent, as well as Sagunto, Alzira, Xàtiva, Gandia and Ontinyent. The town gives us an idea of the journey, but the venue’s address tells us what equipment to bring.

Our speciality is cooking paella for groups, working from our own kitchen. You can keep handling your tables and front of house and leave the cooking to us, or bring it all together in a fuller service.
With the date, the venue and the number of guests, we can start planning your catering in Valencia. From there, we work out with you the menu and service that suit you best.
If you’re a committee, we fit the cooking and the bar around your fiesta programme. We also go through allergies and dietary needs so they’re included in the proposal.
