Catering in Albacete

Planning a First Communion, a lunch for your peña (social club) or a work get-together? Xepep’s catering in Albacete starts from a clear idea: bring the kitchen to your event and cook the rice right there, with whatever service you need to sit down and eat.

We’re a family-run kitchen based in Aspe. From there, we travel to Albacete and towns across the province for group celebrations. The quote brings together the menu, getting our team there and the set-up you choose with us.

A First Communion to enjoy with the family

For a First Communion at a place you already have lined up, you can book the cook, the paella pans and the ingredients. If the family takes care of the tables and serving, we focus on the rice.

If you’d also like to hand over the serving, we add plating and service. A full meal can include appetisers, rice, dessert and drinks, plus staff, crockery and clear-away, as agreed.

Christenings, anniversaries and birthdays work the same way: first the group and the venue, then the food and the jobs you need covering.

Paella, companies and cooking for peñas

Rice cooked at your event. Live paella is our speciality for groups. We have the kit for 500 people; for a service with set-up, our minimum is 40 guests. We’ll help you choose how to serve it at your gathering.

Business events. For companies in Albacete, we put on team lunches, presentations and coffee breaks. The time, the number of people and the space decide which service we prepare.

Peñas and associations. As well as the meal, you can ask for a bar in a marquee, with QR ordering to track what’s served. We plan the meals and the bar shifts with your peña, following its programme.

Feria and comparsas

From the Feria caseta to the comparsa lunch in Almansa

The social casetas (fair booths) of the Albacete Feria are a meeting place for peñas and associations. In Almansa, the Moors and Christians comparsas (troupes) share their Fiestas Mayores across the Entradas (grand entry parades), other processions and group meals.

We take care of the rice at your caseta or in the comparsa’s space, with cooks, paella pans and ingredients. You enjoy the get-together; if you’d like us to look after your guests or run a bar as well, we’ll build it into the proposal.

The day, the number of guests and the gaps between events let us plan the kitchen. Together, we check where cooking is allowed and how the caseta is laid out, to fit in a one-off meal or several days of fiesta.

September in Albacete, spring in Almansa

The Albacete Feria brings peñas and groups together in September; Almansa celebrates its Fiestas Mayores between late April and early May. These dates help place the meals for associations and comparsas.

We fit your peña’s or comparsa’s meal around the events in the programme, and agree the timings and the on-site set-up with you.

Almansa, Hellín and the rest of the province

You can book catering in Albacete city and in Almansa, Hellín and Caudete. You can also ask us about an event in Villarrobledo, La Roda, Tobarra, Chinchilla de Montearagón or Casas Ibáñez.

We plan the journey and the cooking kit for your venue. With its address, we check the loading access and where the paella pans can be set up.

You’ll find all the options in our event services. For other locations: Valencia, Murcia or Aspe and the Vinalopó.

A quote for your venue and your date

The proposal combines cooking in our kitchen with rice finished at your venue. So you can book just the cooking if you already have service covered, or ask us to take on more of the celebration. The proposal includes travel to your event.

To get started, all we need to know is what you’re celebrating, where, when and how many guests you expect. Then we choose the food with you, plus any help with tables, tableware or waiting staff.

We also go over dietary needs and what we’ll do if the weather turns. That way, you get a proposal that sets out the cooking, the service and our team’s travel.
