Local fiestas

Catering for local fiestas: no room for improvising

Fiestas that leave no room for improvising. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners for large groups throughout the fiestas, without driving the person in charge mad. You handle the fiesta; we’ll handle the hunger.

Who it’s for

We speak your language

Moors and Christians.
For comparsas and filaes (troupes) and cuartelillos (clubhouses): several days of service where all you need to worry about is parading and enjoying yourselves.
Hogueras (Bonfires of San Juan).
For racós and barracas (fiesta marquees): groups that need pace, order and fast service, night after night.
Patron saint and neighbourhood fiestas.
For fiesta committees and peñas (social clubs): get-together lunches, community dinners and the bar in the marquee.

In the marquee

The fiesta bar, with clear accounts.

We set up the kitchen and the bar inside your marquee, with a dedicated menu for lunches and dinners. Every order goes through a handheld ordering device or a QR code and is recorded, so the committee always knows what’s been served and what’s been charged. At the end of the week, it all tallies.

  • Kitchen and bar set up in the marquee
  • A dedicated lunch and dinner menu
  • Orders by handheld device and QR code
  • Order tracking for the committee

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can you cover the whole fiesta, from start to finish?

Yes. Four to six days in a row is usual.

For how many people?

We have the kit to feed 500 people in a single service.

Do you set up the kitchen yourselves?

Yes, inside your marquee or premises. Tell us what power, water and gas supplies there are and we’ll tell you what’s missing.

How do you keep track of what’s served at the bar?

With handheld devices and QR codes. Every drink and dish is recorded, and the committee can see the summary.

When should we lock in the kitchen for the town fiestas?

As early as you can. Fiesta weeks fill up months ahead, and many committees book a year ahead.

To plan each programme, see our catering for Moors and Christians or the Hogueras (Bonfires of San Juan) and barracas service.

For First Communions, birthdays and family get-togethers, see our catering for celebrations. And if your fiestas are in the area, there’s catering in Aspe and the Vinalopó.
